Emma Lutz-Higgins

Illuminating a fluidity of making and unmaking meaning, Emma Lutz-Higgins and Tahni Holt dance inside the circumstances of the Festival- a porous performance space where we are moving within the landscape of attention.  We play with theatrical devices in ways to bend expectations and to give reverence to the sculpturesque harmonies/disharmonies that different iterations generate. We are twinning sometimes entwined and rocking into ways of seeking, dispersing, and disappearing.  Yet, it isn’t all about what we are attending to as the performers. It is a mash-up of what people bring with them, their patterns of gaze and projections and mindsets, play center stage. There are other things too that are in-betweens and in the liminal spaces. We commit to residing here through the joy of dancing together.
